=Contribution to communications and construction of alternatives at the 3rd Summit of the People=
L’Association mondiale des radiodiffuseurs communautaires (AMARC) en partenariat avec Radio-Centre-Ville (102.5 Montréal), CIBL (101.3 FM Montréal), CKUT (90.3 FM Montréal) et CKIA (88,3 FM Ville de Québec )couvrira le 3ieme Sommet des Peuples qui aura lieu à Mar del Plata en Argentine du 1 au 5 novembre 2005. Le 3ième Sommet des Peuples est un sommet parallèle au 4ième SOmmet des Amériques qui se tiendra du 4 au 5 novembre 2005 à Mar del Plata et qui acceuillera les 34 chefs d’états des 2 hémisphères (sauf Cuba) afin de discutés du projet de la Zone de libre échange des Amériques (ZLÉA).

Le projet de l’AMARC intitulé « Contributions aux communications et à la construction d’alternatives lors du 3ieme Sommet des Peuples » bénéficie du soutien financier de l’Office Québec-Amériques pour la jeunesse (OQAJ), de Développement et Paix et du CRDI.

Durant les 5 jours de couverture les 10 reporters des radio communautaires couvriront à la fois le 3ième Sommet des Peuples et le 4ième Sommet des Amériques.

The World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC) is proud to have united nine young journalists who will guarantee media coverage at the 3rd Peoples’ Summit and 4th Summit of the Americas at Mar del Plata. Organized alongside the 4th Summit of the Americas, the 3rd Summit of the People is a large manifestation of civil society that aims to make the alternative voices of North and South America heard.
